Nene Tereza ka lindur me 27 Gusht 1910 ne Shkup , te maqedonise. Ishte femija e trete e Nikoles dhe Drane Bojaxhiu. Ne moshen 5vjec e ghysem mori kungimin e saj te pare . Familja e pagezoi me emrin Gonxha Agnes. Babi i saj vdiq kur Nene tereza ishte vetem 8 vjec duke e len familjen jo ne kushte te mira financiare.Per nena e saj Drane i rriti te tre femijet me dashuri dhe kujdes te vecante.
Ne moshen 18 vjecare Nene Tereza vendosi te behej misionare.

1962: She received the Pandma Shri prize for "extraordinary services"
1971: Pope Paul VI honors Mother Teresa by awarding her the first Pope John XXIII Peace Prize
1972: Government of India presents her with the Jawaharlal Nehru Award for International Understanding.
1979: Wins Nobel Peace Prize
1985: President Reagan presents her the Medal of Freedom, the highest U.S. civilian award.
1996: She becomes only the fourth person in the world to receive an honorary U.S. citizenship

Ne 1989 pati nje tjeter atack zemre akoma dhe me te rende.
Ne 1991 ajo vuante nga anemonia ( ftohje)
Ne 1996 vuante nga malaria dhe infeksion ne kraharor .
Me 5 shtator 1997 : bota meson se Nene Tereza ( Angel of Mersy) vdiq ne moshen 87 vjecare duke lene pas dashuri dhe paqe
